It is interesting in regarding the variety of artistic expressions on Ebay to imagine what is behind some of these lovely paintings or sculptures. Sometimes the artists themselves will discuss a little of what motivates them on their ‘about me’ pages or on their websites. I can readily relate to the pleasure and even pure joy they evince from their work. It is intensely satisfying to be able to have an outlet for what I consider the ‘internal workings’ that make up the thoughts, emotions and visions that come from experiencing life. In pursuing a creative path, an inspired artist can communicate on a level that does not necessitate words. (Although words can be inspired too!) They can reveal an awareness that awakens within the viewer a moment when they were similarly charged with emotion. I deeply appreciate some of the extraordinary work I have seen.
